Artcars are quirky, one-of-a kind rolling wonders – usually cars – sometimes other wheeled vehicles – which have been transformed and artistically ornamented in self-expression of the owners.
A limited quantity of these t-shirts will be sold at the event. The shirts were hand printed by students from Hiram High School. They’re $20 each. Income from this event will benefit Wounded Warriors.
September 1-2
Bring your artcar, artbike, rat rod etc. to Marietta on Labor Day weekend! ArtcarPalooza will be on Atlanta Street on the south side of Marietta Square Saturday, September 1 and Sunday, September 2 from 10-5 during Marietta’s annual Art in the Park festival. Come join the excitement and meet the “cartists”! A street will be closed for this event, so space is limited. Sign up now!
We need art car participants. If you are an artcar owner and are willing to bring your car to Marietta where it will be exhibited for a day, please contact us. Modifications need to be permanent and the vehicle must be drivable. Art must be family-appropriate. An entry form can be found below, there is a small entry fee, and participants will receive an ArtcarPalooza t-shirt. Trophies will be awarded for each category.
